(詳細はFord F-Series twelfth generation (MY 2009–2014) Lincoln Mark LT (2nd gen (Mexico) }} The thirteenth-generation Ford F-Series was unveiled at the 2014 North American International Auto Show on January 13, 2014.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.mlive.com/naias/index.ssf/2014/01/2015_ford_f-150_makes_world_de.html )〕 Much of its exterior styling was previewed by the 2013 Ford Atlas concept vehicle. In an effort to increase fuel economy, the 2015 model reduces curb weight by up to 750 pounds through the extensive use of aluminum in the body structure and high strength steel in the frame. The only major component of sheet metal not made from aluminum is the firewall. Retaining the use of body-on-frame construction, the frame is constructed with 77% high-strength steel (up from 23%).〔 To showcase the durability of the aluminum-intensive design, Ford entered prototypes of the model disguised as 12th generation F150s in the Baja 1000.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.roadandtrack.com/car-shows/2014-detroit-auto-show/2015-ford-f-150-baja-1000-prototype-ford-snuck-in )〕 It introduced a series of driver assistance systems: 360-Degree camera, Adaptive Cruise Control and Collision Warning with Brake Support, Blind Spot Information System with Cross-Traffic Alert, and Lane-Keeping System. ==Powertrain== Two new, more fuel efficient engines were added for 2015. Ford expanded the EcoBoost line with a new 2.7 L EcoBoost V6 engine. A new 3.5 L Ti-VCT engine replaced the 3.7 L as the entry-level V6 offering. The 5.0 L Coyote V8 and 3.5 EcoBoost V6 engines were continued from the previous generation. The 6.2 L V8, however, was not carried over from the previous generation.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.torquenews.com/106/closer-look-new-base-v6-2015-ford-f150 )〕 All engines are only available with a 6 speed automatic transmission 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Ford F-Series thirteenth generation」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
